About Us Auer Roofing Inc is the oldest family owned roofing company in Melbourne. The company was founded in 1950 by Raymond Auer Sr. and quickly became the premier roofing contractor in the area. From the very beginning, pride in workmanship and quality of service was the company's philosophy. And as Ray Auer Sr. prepared his son to assume responsibility for the company, it was this philosophy he stressed. In the 1970s Ray Auer Jr. took control and the excellence in workmanship and quality of service continued. During Ray Jr.'s tenure he started to prepare his nephew Mike Willis to assume ownership and responsibility for the company, again, stressing the importance of pride in workmanship and quality of service. In 2002, Ray Jr. passed control of the company to Mike who is proud to lead the operations of this 60 year old family owned business into the new millennium. Mike has continued to maintain the company's roofing certification and has added a general contractor certification; and now is a "Aging in Place Specialist" which involves modifications and/or renovations to accommodate the needs of the handicapped and aging. He has positioned the Auer business to handle all your construction requirements, all with the same quality and pride in workmanship. Mike recognizes that he has some very big shoes to fill, following in the footsteps of his grandfather and uncle, and is determined to maintain the company's philosophy that's been the driving force of the success of Auer Roofing through the years. He believes the key to a happy customer is to give good value and high quality to every job his company does, and to continue the integrity and pride that Auer Roofing was built on.
